Mission Statement

The purpose of Melton Christian Church is to introduce people to Jesus, bringing them into fellowship with His Family and helping them to grow into Christ-like maturity.

We will be a people who wholeheartedly love God and actively serve in the life of the church and the community.

Who We Are

Melton Christian Church is a Pentecostal church who is committed to faithful biblical teaching, loving people and enabling them to grow in Christ. We‘re a multicultural family of believers who love God with all our heart.

God loves us and knows us intimately. He does not intend for us to navigate our life journey alone. We have been created for connection, to be part of something bigger than ourselves… created to belong.

Because we belong, we begin to discover our true identity in Christ through the lens of God’s Word. We begin to see ourselves as He does and are transformed by the gospel. We help people discover the Father’s love by simply loving them.

God’s love causes us to grow. Knowing we are created to worship, we pray, love, serve, give. We raise up godly leaders to Impact our community with the transforming light of the gospel.

Our History

Melton Christian Church has a long history of being a community of people who love God, love the city of Melton and desire to be a church that is relevant with an outward focus where all are welcomed. Established in 1985 when founders Simon and Jan Liefting heard God’s call to relocate to the West, the church continues to be a bright light amidst our local community.

In 1985 the church established Melton Christian College, a Prep-Year 12 independent school which operates at the same site.

MCChurch is a part of the Associated Christian Ministries network, and has a longstanding relationship with the Combined Churches of Melton and CCCM Foodbank.
