Women’s Group

Our women’s ministry, LACE, offers monthly get-togethers. Sometimes it’s coffee and cake, sometimes an outing or activity. Whatever the event, it’s a great time to get to know one another better and share our life journey!

“Guide older women into lives of reverence so they are… models of goodness. By looking at them, the younger women will know how to love their husbands and children, be virtuous and pure, keep a good house, be good wives.” – Titus 2:3-5 (MSG)

LACE is an acronym for Ladies Accepting the Challenge to Educate.

It’s a ministry bringing women together through the godly legacy we pass on to each other, as stated in Titus 2:3-5.
Just like fine lacework, we are being interwoven together with Jesus’ love.

The Story of LACE

During a morning reading, I was amazed after reading all that God had done for the children of Israel to read the words: “After two generations the people had forgotten all that God had done for them”. In meditation on this I thought, well what is different today?

The book of Joshua is an incredible read on the importance that God placed on setting up memorials to remind the future generations of how great and loving He is. The challenge to me was, am I making memorials to pass on to my family and those around me?

Our stories and experiences and history, regardless of our age, are important because God is in them and they need to be used for His glory. Thus began the story of LACE – ladies accepting the challenge to educate. I so look forward to making this journey with you and sharing our journeys together so that others can also be inspired to make a difference for the next generation.
